Love Reigns Ministries was created to bring together those living in vulnerable communities around the world and those who feel called to live like Jesus…but don’t know where to start. We believe God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things every day.

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.  Acts 4:13

Today, millions around the world living in vulnerable communities do not have basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter. Through travel and missions trips to vulnerable communities in previous years the founders of Love Reigns have learned that while millions do not have basic necessities to live; some have found the ultimate source of life, our savior, Jesus Christ.

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.  John 6:40

Their faith in and dependence on God is something we believe the whole world needs. Many may not have food to eat, a place to sleep or even a bible to read, but they are filled with joy, peace, and comfort from the Holy Spirit. Our own spiritual lives have been dramatically changed by fellowship with these individuals.  

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.     2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Through the years we have used our ordinary gifts and resources to help those whose physical needs are not being met. By trying to imitate Jesus our lives have been changed for the better. Love Reigns exists to create programs that will connect those who feel called to help with those in need. It is our belief that as we foster the relationships between people in vulnerable communities with those who can provide resources that all will deepen their relationship with God. Our mission is to cultivate those relationships through mentorship programs so that all individuals will benefit from loving one another as God has called us to do.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?  1 John 3:16
